Contact Kit respects your right to control how your business contact information is used. If you would like your business email, phone number, job title, or company association removed from Contact Kit's sourcing database, you can request removal at any time, free of charge. This page explains what opt-out covers, how to submit a request, and how long it takes us to complete.

Scope of the Opt-Out

An opt-out request removes your business contact record from our internal database and our sourcing pipelines. After processing, your information will not be included in any future Contact Kit list delivered to a customer, and our research team will not re-add it unless you later request reinstatement. Opt-out covers the specific contact details you provide (name, email address, phone number, company). If you work at multiple organizations or have multiple email addresses, list each one you want suppressed.

What We Cannot Control

Contact Kit cannot recall lists that have already been delivered to customers before your opt-out was processed. Customers who received lists containing your information are subject to their own privacy obligations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, CASL), which typically require them to honor unsubscribe requests sent directly to their outreach. We also cannot opt you out of third-party databases, social networks, or public sources such as company websites and SEC filings.

How to Submit a Request

Email privacy@contactkit.io with the subject line "Opt Out Request" and include:

Your full name as it would appear on a contact record
Your business email address (and any alternates you want removed)
Your company name and job title
Any direct-dial or mobile phone numbers you want suppressed
Optional: the context in which you discovered Contact Kit had your information

If you prefer, you can also mail a written request to Contact Kit, Newark, Delaware. Email is faster and results in the same outcome.

Processing Timeline and Confirmation

We will process your request within 10 business days of receipt. Once your record is suppressed, you will receive a confirmation email from privacy@contactkit.io. If we are unable to match your submission to a record in our database, we will confirm that as well - and add your contact details to a permanent suppression list to block future sourcing.
